About this registry
This is a fast, modern directory of every US healthcare provider with a National Provider Identifier (NPI), enriched with the Medicare payment data the government already publishes. It exists to make public data easy to look up — nothing more, nothing less.
What you'll find
- Registry facts for ~9.7 million providers: NPI, name, specialty/taxonomy, addresses, and identifiers.
- CMS Medicare payment totals where a provider billed Medicare — by year and by procedure.
- Directories by specialty and by state, all cross-linked, with the source date on every page.
What we don't do
- No medical advice. This is a data directory, not a source of health guidance. Talk to a licensed professional for that.
- No ratings or reviews. We publish facts from public files — we don't rank, score, or opine on provider quality.
- No government affiliation. We are not CMS, NPPES, NUCC, or any government agency, and we're not endorsed by them.
Where the data comes from
Every field is reproduced from public-domain federal files — the NPPES registry, CMS Medicare public use files, and the NUCC taxonomy. See Data sources & freshness for the full list, refresh cadence, and when each last updated. We refresh on a regular schedule and show a site-wide banner if the data ever falls behind.
Corrections & privacy
We don't edit provider records — to fix your information, update it at the NPPES registry and it will flow through on the next refresh. If your listed practice address is a private residence, you can request that we suppress it.
